Annie Schmidt

Annie leads the People & Safety function at Compass Group Australia (CGA), leveraging a strong background in human resources, employee engagement, and organisational transformation across complex industries.  

Before joining CGA, Annie held senior people roles at St Vincent’s Health Australia and Qantas, with a strong track record in strategic leadership and change management. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne.  

Annie plays a pivotal role in cultivating inclusive, high-performing cultures that put people at the centre of business success. Her deep commitment to long-term client relationships, built on trust, empathy, and consistent delivery, ensures CGA continues to grow with integrity and impact.
