We are proud to announce a continuation in our relationship with Defence, marking a significant milestone in our ongoing collaboration. This new contract will focus on delivering Living and Working Services across New South Wales, the Australian Capital Territory, and Queensland as part of an initial six-year term.

Having recently operated the Hospitality and Catering contract in a similar geography, the new Living and Working Services contract adds management of Accommodation, Transport, Fitness Centres, Cleaning, Pest & Vermin, and Laundry & Dry Cleaning.
Since starting a partnership with Defence in 1995, we have shown a strong alignment to the Defence values, a thorough understanding of Defence member needs, and an ability to deliver as a trusted partner. The announcement of this new contract reflects a shared commitment to enabling Defence capability, improving member experiences on base, and positively impacting local, Indigenous, Veteran, and SME businesses, including those in regional and remote areas.
Commenting on the contract, Compass Group Australia’s Managing Director, Jo Taylor said, “We’re honoured to deliver Living and Working Services for Defence.”

This contract follows a comprehensive tender process and reflects the strong partnership we have established with Defence, demonstrating confidence in our continued operational performance.
Speaking to the future of the partnership, Compass Group Australia’s Executive Director, Michael Lambourne (pictured left) stated that he is excited to see the relationship progress, also adding,
