We are incredibly proud to share this achievement for another year! It reflects our continued focus on corporate social responsibility; including our sustainability initiatives and support of local communities. As well as our focus on health and wellness for our people and our customers.
This year so many businesses were tested in previously unimagined
ways due to COVID19. It has always been our focus to protect and champion our teams and our customers across all areas of the organisation. The result is a stable and great place to work. With more than 10,000 staff in Australia alone, we reach millions of people everyday, often in remote locations where food and support service continuity are essential. This meant new levels of adaptability and flexibility to align with the ever-changing environment. But this also meant a heightened focus on sustainability initiative impact, mental health and wellness support and our corporate social responsibility.
Best-regarded companies are ranked across 52 industries and rated across nine criteria. This ranges from investment value, management and products quality to corporate social responsibility and ability to attract and retain talent.
This year we are placed second behind Waste Management, and ahead of competitors Sodexo (#3) and Aramark (#6). It is a great achievement to be named in the WMAC list. We are proud of how we have risen to the challenges presented during this past year and look forward to continuing this focus.
