Business Development Manager

Seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to support growth within our Hospitals portfolio.

The Position

We are currently seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to support our Hospitals portfolio. Reporting to the Director Business Development you will take a lead role in developing and driving the sales strategy within the Hospitals sector in nationally. Key focus areas will be direct sales of services agreements, delivering new revenue streams within existing contracts, as well as some work in retaining current contracts when re-tenders are required.

You will partner with key stakeholders in operations, commercial and other support departments to ensure we remain competitive and best in class with our service offering.

 Key Duties

  • Collaborate with the key stakeholders within the business sector to develop and qualify new sales opportunities to present the Company’s various product and service offerings.
  • Build and develop a pipeline of opportunities and associated pursuit strategies to deliver on annual sales target
  • Develop and manage customer relationships over the opportunity lifecycle.
  • Support / lead the design and delivery of innovative, creative and compelling solutions and proposals that represent best company and industry best practice.
  • Design and deliver presentations and food tastings to selected prospects to expand on the benefits of the Company’s service and product offerings.

The Person

  • Demonstrated success in consultative selling, influencing situations and negotiating outcomes at a senior level within the B2B market
  • Business Development or Operational experience within contract catering preferred, however experience in Hospitals preferred
  • Commercially astute, coupled with strong financial and entrepreneurial experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of customer driver’s and the sales process
  • Highly developed presentation skills
  • Tertiary qualifications in Sales/Marketing or Business Studies are ideal.
