Cafe Supervisor

Overall purpose of the role

We are looking for someone to assist with the day-to-day operation of the Cafe outlet, as well as ordering, merchandising, promoting, receipting and inventory of stock, and reconciliation of daily takings.  Must ensure that all tasks associated with food service, beverage services and general customer service are performed with due regard for all Health and Safety and Food Safety regulations as required.  Promotion and support of Our Safety Culture is also expected.  All these tasks must be done in conjunction with the contractual requirements of the Unit.

Role & Requirements 

• Operate a Cafe in a professional and friendly manner
• Prepare and serve espresso coffee
• Deliver professional customer service
• Communicate effectively in the workplace
• Ensure Cafe is always kept hygienically clean
• Ensure responsible service of alcohol compliance

The Person

• Able to work efficiently under pressure
• Creative approach to merchandising and sales promotions
• A flexible approach and attitude
• Customer Service experience
• Experience in a similar role
• Confidently able to handle money
