Working across all areas of the kitchen you will have demonstrated skills in Pastry and Baking.

The Position

We are currently seeking an experienced Part Time Chef to work across two of our Educational facilities based in Ballarat. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high quality, well-presented dishes while taking responsibility for general cleaning and upkeep of the kitchen.

The Person

  • A passion for producing great food
  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
  • Proven experience in a high-volume environment
  • Full understanding of OHS, Hygiene and HACCP regulations
  • Great communication skills and ability to work within a team
  • Working with Children Check

Key Duties

  • Breakfast, lunch and functions menus
  • Working to HACCP guidelines
  • General stock control
  • Development of client relations
  • General cleaning and upkeep of the kitchen
  • Working as a team, helping colleagues when needed
