The Position

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced senior Chef to join our team in Normanhurst. As a Chef you will be join a large culinary team responsible for the catering for our students and faculty. 

The Role

• Assist and oversee the preparation, cooking and presentation of all our innovative and mouth-watering culinary offerings ensuring that the food you offer at the site is delivered to an exceptional standard across our menus and daily specials
• Actively maintain a complete awareness and desire for nutrition and healthy eating
• Supervise weekend Staff
• Ensuring accurate implementation of allergy awareness controls
• Uphold the fantastic customer focus at all times, responding to feedback positively and proactively
• Ensure the safe production of a high-quality product without comprise to the food safety guidelines provided

The Person

• Previous experience in bulk catering, functions
• Strong HACCP knowledge and experience
• Experience leading a small team
• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
