We are looking for an experienced and reliable Part Time Cleaner to join our team based at Australian Defence Force Academy. You will be working in a safe and efficient manner; this position is responsible for the completion of day to day cleaning of specified areas under the direction of the Mess Manager. 

Key Duties

• Maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene levels of the facility
• Follow company cleaning procedures to high standard ensuring only approved chemicals/cleaning products are used
• You will need to be able to take initiative and work unsupervised
• Rapid response to urgent cleans and spills
• Garbage collection and disposal
• Manual handling and lifting of equipment
• Distribute toilet / bathroom supplies and / or cleaning materials in buildings

To be successful in this role you will need to have:

• Previous commercial cleaning experience
• Able to perform practical and physical work and stand for long periods 
• Able to work quickly and efficiently
• Ability to work within a team environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills
• Adherence to site safety policy and procedures
• You’re a can-do person who goes above and beyond to get the job done
• Knowledge of cleaning safety processes
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Is Reliable and self-motivated
