FIFO Chefs

We are currently seeking experienced, qualified, and passionate Chefs to work at a variety of remote sites across SA; FIFO from Adelaide.  You’ll be at the forefront of the Compass workforce, providing high quality and nutritious food to the residents, guests & employees onsite. 

This is an exciting and rewarding field of work with real benefits. We offer both casual and full-time positions to suit your lifestyle.  Our Chefs have the opportunity to work in all aspects of food preparation from Breakfasts to Retail grab’n’go to Site Events. 

The Person

To be successful in these roles you’ll need:

• A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
• Previous volume cooking experience
• The capacity to work night shifts as necessary
• The ability to work away from home for 2 weeks at a time
• A manual driving licence is preferred but not essential
