Front of House Manager

We are currently recruiting for a Front of House Manager for a prestigious boys school in Parramatta. You will be a Hospitality superstar and will be a proven leader of front and/or back of house teams that provide a first class customer service experience. This position will require occasional weekend/evening work from time to time.  

Key duties 

• Completing stock control, ordering, hygiene, menu planning, safety awareness & staff control duties
• Efficiently using Microsoft office programs including outlook, word and excel; along with company specific programs
• Financial reporting and cost management activities
• Organising kitchen staff to achieve high quality output in volume
• Implementing and observing relevant safety & hygiene practices
• Organising and planning functions
• Ensuring outstanding customer service is provided to clients

The person:

• Previous experience in a similar role (restaurant, function and catering managers encouraged to apply)
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft office programs) and quick learner of new software
• Solid knowledge of quality management systems
• Strong financial reporting and cost management skills
• Solid leadership skills and experience in managing a small team
• Experience building and maintaining customer relationships
• Strong awareness of Hygiene & Food Safety Standards
• Current working Working with Childrens Check or ability to obtain one
