Compass Group is a world leader in catering and support services. ESS is the market leading support services division of Compass Group, partnering with major companies throughout the oil and gas, mining and construction, and defence sectors.

Due to anticipated growth, we are seeking expressions of interests from seasoned HSEQ Advisors, to work across our remote portfolios throughout Queensland. Successful candidates will focus on driving regular and sustainable improvement in our safety performance; conducting regular safety interactions with all levels within the teams, ensuring safety compliance and supporting any investigations, demonstrating tenacity to get to root cause identification.

Responsibilities:

• The continual improvement of our safety management system
• Providing specialist HSEQ advice and support to our operational teams
• Ensuring compliance with all legal requirements
• Driving regular and sustainable improvement in our safety performance
• Conducting regular safety interactions with all levels within the teams
• Ensuring safety compliance and supporting investigations

Experience Required:

• Experience in Site Based HSEQ Advisory positions, having held responsibility for delivering overall HSEQ support.
• Strong and decisive HSEQ leadership skills with ability to engage stakeholders
• Experience in managing multiple stakeholder relationships, effectively bringing people along the site safety journey.
• Highly developed skills in communication, presentations and reporting.

These positions are either FIFO or DIDO within the Bowen Basin, with various rosters available.
