Learning & Development Manager

The Learning & Development Manager role is to develop and implement learning strategies and programs aligned with our business objectives, and to ensure the smooth and effective operation of all systems and processes for the training and professional development of all Compass Group employees

The Role:

This role reports to the General Manager of Organisational Development and will be accountable for

  • Ownership of Compass Group’s LMS & Training Matrix Platforms
  • Creation & updating 100-day training plans across all sectors
  • Vendor management
  • System design enhancements, customisations & upgrades.
  • Development of training program content
  • Facilitation of leadership group assessments, training courses and support for onboarding facilitation
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to develop targeted development plans

The Person:

This is a role for someone who’s super organised, can navigate multiple agendas and has a positive approach to work.

Candidates with the following attributes will be held in high regard;

  • Extensive experience in the management of Learning Management Systems
  • Certification in coaching & psychometric tools
  • Proven experience in delivering training & facilitation on a large scale
  • Expertise in designing end-to-end training programs to support business objectives
  • High level proficiency in completing training needs analysis
  • Cert IV in TAE desirable but not essential
