Utility Cook | Full Time | Jackson – Cooper Basin

The Position

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced cook/ utility to join our team at our Jackson Village site in the Cooper Basin (QLD).

This position will be fly in / fly out of Brisbane – working 2 weeks on, 1 week off working and 10 hour days. The role is a “hands on” position and will require a cook who is happy to fill the role of site cook/utility.

• Assist the head chef with cooking for a 90-man camp

• Experience with Breakfast, lunch and dinner services 

• Ensure all catering controls are in place and wastage is kept to the minimum

• Model high standards of performance and behaviour

• Maintaining a high standard of food hygiene, safety, infection control and cleanliness in accordance with Compass standards

The Person

• Experienced Cook – within the remote camp environment would be ideal

• Valid RSA

• Manual Car Licence

• Previous Cooking Experience

• Possess a passion for food safety and HACCAP
