Compass Group Australia (CGA) is committed to supporting current and former Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel and their families with opportunities for ongoing and meaningful civilian employment.
CGA recognises that Veterans and current ADF personnel have lived a life of service, structure and purpose in often unusual and/or dangerous environments. We understand that the skills and experience gained in service may not always easily transition across to civilian life and we are dedicated to providing our Veterans and those transitioning from Defence, extra support into new career pathways within our business. To do this, we provide a structured support and mentoring program as well as key training for our leaders and managers.
CGA is also committed to supporting families of current ADF personnel into sustainable and ongoing employment within our business that will fit in with the redeployment needs of their serving spouse/partner or parent. Offering stability and a solid ongoing connection that we understand can often be hard to find within the transient lifestyle of a Defence family.
In 2022 we proudly became a part of the Prime Minister’s Veteran Employment Program, solidifying our dedication to providing career pathways for Veterans and transitioning Defence personnel into the civilian workplace.
CGA also continues to work closely with RSL Australia and the Department of Veterans’ Affairs to better understand the needs of Veterans and their families and provide career transition support as well as opportunities within our business nationally.
This week CGA signed the official pledge to partner with Soldier On, as a Gold Pledge partner, in our ongoing commitment to supporting those who have served, as well as their families, into meaningful and supported employment.
